roughly coin shaped in dimension

(one for each face of every coin)

-- (C4D) Black Environment with calibrated light rigs, camera, and render settings

-- (C4D) Assets are loosely organized/labelled


These projects make use of displacement texture maps.
If you don't have a system that can make use of displacement mapping, this project may not work as intended. Light rigs, cameras, materials, textures, environments, etc. are calibrated to work within Maxon's Cinema 4D with Otoy's Octane Render Plugin, calibrated for my personal setup. Your results may vary. Some scene components may work within other systems.

Project scale for the Standard US Coins project is set to the scale of US minted coins. As a result, the models in this scene are rather small and their displacement materials are calibrated to match their scale within the scene. If you'd like to scale your models, be sure to adjust the displacement amount appropriately.


Project Scale for the Non-Standard Extra Coins project is larger and not set to realistic scale standards. The same considerations for scaling still applies, be sure to adjust displacement amount. Displacement maps are intended to be applied to the front and back faces of each coin within the extruded indentation of the coin's outer rim. Texture transformation may be required in order to line
up the displacement map with or within the faces of the coin. None of the coins in either of these projects have edge ridges.
